Background: The most celebrated player in franchise history and one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, Brees accumulated many honors over the course of his tremendous 15-year career with the New Orleans Saints. Brees holds the record for most games played in franchise history, most yards passing, best completion percentage and most touchdown passes among many marks. Brees was a two-time NFL Associated Press Offensive Player of the Year.
